Eloping at That Chapel Downtown? This guide covers what happens after booking, when to arrive and how to plan your ceremony, photos and music. If you’ve received your 60-day reminder, we’re excited to see you soon—remember to complete your questionnaires and final payment.

Immediately after booking a Chapel or Ceremony Set Package, you’ll receive an add-on proposal and questionnaires. These help us gather your details and prepare for your ceremony.
We’ll check in 60 days before your wedding and remind you about any unanswered questionnaires. Your officiant and any vendors we provide will reach out within the next 30 days. For help planning your schedule, see our sample wedding-day timeline.
Arrive no earlier than five minutes before your booking. If another wedding is leaving or taking final photos, please keep the entrance clear. We manage the chapel schedule, but we aren’t your wedding planners or day-of coordinators. Arrange your plans before arrival separately.

If you’re early, use nearby photo locations until it’s time to enter. Depending on your package, your Chapel Host or officiant will greet you and guide you through the paperwork. You may also have time for couple photos before your guests arrive.
If you want a first look, discuss it with your photographer and officiant before your wedding. Tell them whether you want a private moment before the ceremony or to see each other when you walk down the aisle. We don’t coordinate your first look, so plan the arrivals in advance.
If you want to stay out of sight, ask your transportation provider to text when guests are five minutes away. Discuss your entrance plan with us in advance. There are places inside the chapel where you can wait out of sight, and you can ask about waiting next door at TopCats Tattoo Parlor.
Your Chapel Host will seat your guests and let you know when we’re ready. From there, follow the plan you’ve discussed with your officiant and photographer.

Your officiant reaches out about one month before your wedding to arrange a conversation. Discuss the ceremony details and length together; personal vows and other choices can change the timing.

Walk back up the aisle together and stop before the ledges for another kiss, with your guests behind you. Then head outside for a quiet moment with your photographer. You can return for family and friend photos during the remainder of your booking.
Choose your processional and recessional songs from our song list, or bring your own music. For your own playlist, choose a guest to handle playback. Your 60- and 30-day emails remind you to send your Spotify playlist to the chapel.
You can cut your cake at the chapel. Your rental includes a gold cake knife set and a faux-marble table. Bring your cake and any plates, forks and napkins you need—we don’t provide those items. Take the cake with you or dispose of it when you leave, and clear away any rubbish.
Our two bathrooms are available for changing, freshening up and photos. Keep these activities within your booked chapel time.
Want a first dance? Confirm your chapel time and music arrangements with us before adding it to your celebration. Keep it within your booked time.
